We are looking for an embedded software engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment that can be added to our team of electrical engineers, industrial designers and business strategists. Embedded Systems Engineer 5+ Years

We are seeking an embedded systems engineer to join our team and provide expertise in software and hardware. This position requires solving challenging problems and developing innovative solutions for new products and services across many industries. This position requires an understanding of the importance of collaboration and teamwork and the ability to excel in an open environment and high paced development.

Required proficiencies:

  • 5-10 years computer engineer experience
  • Flexible, modular, and maintainable code architecture
  • Customization, deployment and maintenance of Linux distributions on different hardware platforms

Senior Industrial Designer 8+ Years

We are in need of a senior industrial designer who is imaginative, proactively fanning the flames of innovation with an active, nimble, courageous, vivid imagination and unquenchable curiosity for original ideas to solve the ongoing challenges facing our clients.

This role requires creativity, with the ability to take raw ideas and quickly give them form, effectively share them and collaborate with others to enhance ideas through a variety of means possible (drawing, writing, models, video, etc.).

You must have an innovation mindset— possessing the inherent skill, discernment, and confidence to swiftly halt poor ideas and advance great ones based on insights gathered through research and your professional intuition. You know how to test, iterate, and retest to hone the solution perfectly toward the constraints of the client’s business objectives.

These are points of view and skill mastery obtained from a top-notch industrial design program, program management knowledge derived from 8+ years of industry experience, and confidence earned from proven industry success in planning, implementing, facilitating, and pitching with deep human-centered design process knowledge.

Experience Requirements:

  • An eye for excellence: the ability to imagine and create truly beautiful objects, user interfaces, and experiences.
  • In touch with mega and micro trends. We seek candidates that possess both an open mind and a strong point of view.
  • Mastery of sketching (analog and digital), form development, CAD modeling, rendering, and graphic skills.

  • 8+ years of experience in the field (with an impressive portfolio of accomplishments).

Design Strategist 10+ Years

Twisthink is in search of a Senior Design Strategist who will push the boundaries to help deliver award winning design for our clients, who thrive in an energized atmosphere, and will bring a natural curiosity for understanding customer needs and market opportunities. If you are smart, self-motivated, action-oriented individual who wants to transform design into actions, we are looking for you!

Qualifications:

  • 10 + years’ experience in strategy, research, design or related field
  • Comfortable navigating in the fuzzy front end stage and dealing with ambiguity
  • Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, vividly and professionally in writing, via phone and face to face presentations.
  • Comfortable facilitating groups, asking difficult questions, and challenging assumptions in a professional, non-threatening, constructive and goal focused manner.
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate productively in interdisciplinary teams and lead or follow when necessary
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, information architecture, layouts, and presentation (Adobe Creative Cloud Tools, Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Thorough understanding of Human Centered Design methods and tools – with the ability to empathize with end-users and understand how their needs impact product and experience design
