Twisthink expands capabilities by adding global tech scouts from Silicon Valley and Tel Aviv, Israel

Twisthink, a west Michigan digital consulting firm, today announced it has expanded its capabilities to include global tech scouting expertise with new partners based in Silicon Valley and Tel Aviv, Israel. Tech scouting provides businesses seeking to expand their digital innovation efforts a means to get exposure to emerging technologies and overlay them into their digital strategy. These technologies are shaping the future of business.

Twisthink’s addition of tech scouting comes one month after its announcement to move its headquarters to Grand Rapids and its desire to bring global expertise to the region and elevate its tech strength.

“Leading in this digital economy requires all of us to think bigger,” said Robert Niemiec, said Twisthink Managing Partner. “By bringing this global technology perspective to our offerings, we will help our region and the companies we serve understand and adapt to a digital-driven economy so they can thrive in a global marketplace.”

Uri Pachter serves as a board member at Guardknox Cyber Technologies. His previous experience includes tech leadership roles with The Israel Export Institute and Seamless IoT. With more than 6,000 active startups in Tel Aviv – the most per capita in the world – Pachter’s tech scouting expertise provides a necessary and valuable global lens to Twisthink clients.

Allen Shi is formerly a Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships, for Plug and Play Mobility and IoT, who has led teams focused on expansion activities across Silicon Valley, China, Korea, and France, and launched several joint ventures during his tenure. Since Plug and Play, Allen has worked as Chief Revenue Officer at Series A startup, LivNao, as well as VP of Business Development & Sales at engineering consulting firm, FTD solutions. As a Silicon Valley-based tech scout, Shi has the pulse on how the tech capital of the world operates, from its innovation, collaboration, and risk-taking work to its venture capital investments.

“We are thoughtfully and strategically involving Uri and Allen to provide more value to the clients we serve,” said Rob Huber, Chief Strategy Officer for Twisthink. “Having worked closely and collaboratively with both individuals, we know firsthand the value they will bring and how their insights fuel company strategies and direction.”

These partnerships formalize a relationship that has proven beneficial on an as-needed basis. A full integration of tech scouting capabilities ensures a more robust research offering for any client exploring their digital tech growth.
